Following her career as a Professional surfer, Tia Blanco won her first gold medal at the International Surfing Association (ISA) Open Women’s World Surfing Championship 2015.
She again won a Gold medal in the same event in 2016 held in Playa Jaco, Costa Rica. She was only 19 years old when she appeared in the
Getting success in her surfing career she then began appearing in the reality TV show MTV’s The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros for competition.
