Ratha Saatchi (2022) is an Indian film in the Tamil language. It is of drama and thriller genres. According to the sources, it is directed by Rafiq Ismail, who is best known for his amazing works. This movie shows that a young Naxal Revolutionary named Appu (acted by Kanna Ravi) decided to help the poor laborers and bonded workers and fight for their needs. He felt the pain of being a bounded worker and wanted to uplift their standard of living. He soon realized that it is going to be very difficult because of the schisms between communism and Naxalism.
The police also got alerted after getting to know about the Naxal insurgency. The movie shows how will Appu be able to save the lives of the laborers by fighting against the police officers. After the completion of the film, the makers postponed the release of the film multiple times. Finally, ‘Ratha Saatchi’ got released on 9 December 2022. It is also available on the OTT platform of ‘Aha’. The cinematography of the film is done by Jagadeesh Ravi and editing is handled by Prakash Karunathini.
