Based on the previous seasons’ release patterns, Sistas Season 7 could premiere in mid-late 2024, depending on the production schedule and the impact of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Recap of Sistas Season 7

Recap

The sixth season of Sistas picked up from where the fifth season left off, with Andi (KJ Smith) finding out that her husband Gary (Chido Nwokocha) had been cheating on her with his ex-wife Jasmine (Crystal Hayslett). Andi decided to divorce Gary and pursue a relationship with Robin (Austin Scott), a handsome lawyer who had been helping her with her cases. However, Gary was not ready to let go of Andi and tried to win her back by buying her a house and proposing to her again. Andi was conflicted between Gary and Robin but eventually chose to stay with Robin and finalize her divorce.

Meanwhile, Karen (Ebony Obsidian) was also dealing with a complicated love life, as she had two men vying for her attention: Aaron (Kevin Walton), a pastor who had been dating her for a while, and Zac (DeVale Ellis), her ex-boyfriend who had become successful and wealthy after investing in cryptocurrency. Karen was torn between Aaron’s stability and Zac’s passion but ultimately realized that she loved Zac more and broke up with Aaron.

However, Zac had his issues, as he was being blackmailed by his former boss Hayden (Chris Warren), who had stolen his money and threatened to expose his involvement in a murder. Zac decided to confront Hayden and get his money back, but things went wrong and Hayden ended up shooting Zac in the chest.

Sabrina (Novi Brown) and Danni (Mignon Von) also faced some challenges in their relationships. Sabrina had been dating Calvin (Anthony Dalton), a bisexual man who had been honest with her about his sexuality. However, Sabrina had trouble accepting Calvin’s past and felt insecure about his attraction to other men. She also had to deal with Maurice (Brian Jordan Jr.), her coworker and friend who had a crush on Calvin and tried to sabotage their relationship.

Sabrina eventually realized that she loved Calvin and wanted to be with him, but she also had to deal with the consequences of sleeping with Jacob (Dion Rome), a rapper who had a girlfriend and a baby on the way. Danni, on the other hand, had been dating Preston (Trinity Whiteside), a white man who came from a conservative family. Danni had to deal with the racism and prejudice of Preston’s parents, who did not approve of their interracial relationship. Danni also had to cope with the loss of her father, who passed away unexpectedly.

The sixth season of Sistas ended with a dramatic finale, in which Andi and Robin celebrated their engagement, Karen and Zac reunited, Sabrina and Calvin reconciled, and Danni and Preston eloped. However, their happiness was short-lived, as Gary showed up at Andi’s house with a gun and shot Robin in the head, leaving Andi in shock and horror. The season ended with a cliffhanger, leaving the fate of Robin and Zac unknown.
