Delhi Hospitals Asking Government for More Oxygen, Panic Situation Due to Poor Governance

New Delhi, 23 April 2021 – Hospitals in Delhi have once again raised concerns over the shortage of oxygen supply. Sir Ganga Ram was supplied with oxygen earlier today after the hospital released a statement saying that 25 sick patients lost their lives amid a shortage of oxygen and life of another 60 critical patients currently in danger the hospital claim that they have an oxygen supply only for the next two hours.

On the other hand, government sources have said that deaths at Sir Ganga Ram have not been reported due to a shortage of oxygen. But similar concerns were raised by Max hospital which said that they have an acute shortage of oxygen later they were also provided with emergency supplies for at least the next two hours but remember these supplies will suffice for only the next few hours after that hospitals are now looking for more supplies emergency supplies as several patients are still waiting for their turn.

We’re looking at now hospitals there looking for oxygen supplies. SOS calls coming in from Sir Ganga Ram as well as the max hospital. Yet again, just yesterday to their supplies were boosted but again it was just for the next a few hours that they could suffice. Now again, Sir Ganga ram has already reported 25 deaths due to lack of oxygen supplies over the last 24 hours. And they say that at least 60 more patients’ lives are currently in danger if they don’t get oxygen supply in time. Here Delhi is looking at the worst crisis with a serious crunch of oxygen and Remdesivir the other medical supplies also where Delhi has asked the central government to aid them in supplying these necessities right now.

Not just Delhi, We’re looking at Uttar Pradesh now as a new COVID hotspot. Again, oxygen supply is needed in Uttar Pradesh as well. They’re also asking for a supply of oxygen at several hospitals that are facing a serious shortage. Maharashtra one of the worst-hit states looking at a serious shortage of oxygen supply. The Prime Minister himself will be meeting with the suppliers of oxygen in just a little while from now to try and understand the problems that you’re facing.

Even though medical oxygen is currently manufactured, the problem here lies in the lack of containers. There are no containers several of them complaining that even if they want to transport there are no oxygen containers to move it across to the desired hospitals that are now looking for a serious emergency need of oxygen.
