Supreme Court Asks Centre For Covid Plan On Oxygen & Drug Supply

New Delhi, 22 April 2021 – All right live updates coming in from the supreme court hearing on the COVID-19 situation in the country. The Supreme Court has asked the Centre for a plan and oxygen and drug supply. The method of vaccination has also been sought by the Apex court. The case will now be heard next Friday amidst the rising number of COVID-19 cases across India. Several states, of course, imposing COVID restrictions.
But the Apex court also hearing this matter. Remember the Delhi High Court was also hearing a similar plea last late last night. They had wrapped the Center for the slow pace of oxygen supply as well. So these are, of course, big breaking developments coming in from the Supreme Court. The hearing is currently underway on the oxygen supply case.
Today Supreme Court has taken a strong stand on the oxygen supplying all over the country. While hearing Supreme Court has issued notice to Centre Government and ask them to file a response that tomorrow and Supreme Court once again will hear this matters tomorrow. Supreme Court asked 3 main questions to the central government first of all Supreme Court made it very clear that the Court wants the National wide policy regarding the oxygen supply regarding the vaccination and regarding the medicine related to COVID-19.

The first thing is that the central government is going to reform before Supreme Court the supply of oxygen. Second thing is that the supply of essential drugs that is related to COVID and other drugs also and the third one is the matter of vaccination. That’s how the government is planning to vaccinate all over the country that is the age 18 ever. Forth one Supreme Court made it very clear that the power to declare or lockdown it is not a subject of the judicial order.
Supreme Court further says that we want to keep power to declare lockdown with the state government it should not be a judicial decision. This is the observation which is made by Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde today while hearing.
It remains to be seen that about central government is going to file a response before Supreme Court and Supreme Court will take up this matter once again tomorrow for hearing and Supreme Court wants a national policy forms a central government that how they are going to operate that is the first one is related to an oxygen supply, the second one is related to class and the third one is related to vaccination that what is the planning of vaccination.
