Bradley Lee William Death Cause And Obituary: A Tribute to the Young Man Who Died After a Brutal Assault in Slatyford
The family of 23-year-old Bradley Lee William Tams is mourning his tragic death following an alleged assault that occurred just before midnight on December 6 at Cartmel Green in Slatyford, Newcastle. Bradley, who was also known as Bradly, was stabbed multiple times and died at the scene despite the efforts of medical staff. His family described him as a “loving, caring, and funny” young man who had a bright future ahead of him.
A Devastating Loss
Bradley Lee William’s mother, Julie Tams, said that her son was her “best friend” and that she was “heartbroken” by his death. She said that Bradley was a “kind-hearted” person who always helped others and loved his family and friends. She also said that he had a passion for music and cars and that he was looking forward to starting a new job as a delivery driver.
Julie said: “Bradley was my best friend, my son, and my world. He was loving, caring, and funny. He always made me laugh and smile. He was kind-hearted and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and friends and was always there for them. He loved music and cars and was so excited to start his new job. He had so much to live for and I can’t believe he’s gone. He was taken from me too soon and I’m heartbroken. I miss him so much and I love him more than anything.”
Bradley’s sister, Amy Tams, said that her brother was her “hero” and that she was “devastated” by his death. She said that Bradley was a “protective” brother who always looked after her and supported her. She also said that he was a “funny” and “cheeky” person who made everyone laugh and that he had a “big heart” and a “beautiful soul”.

Bradley’s girlfriend, Chloe Smith, said that her boyfriend was her “soulmate” and that she was “shattered” by his death. She said that Bradley was a “loving” and “loyal” partner who always treated her well and made her happy. She also said that he was a “charming” and “handsome” person who had a “great sense of humor” and a “wonderful personality”.

A Senseless Crime
According to the police, Bradley Lee William was assaulted by a group of people who were known to him and that there was no wider risk to the public. The police said that they were treating the assault as murder and that they had arrested four suspects in connection with Bradley’s death. Two of the suspects, a 24-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, were charged with murder and conspiracy to murder, while the other two suspects, both 24-year-old men, were released on bail pending further inquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Katie Smith from Northumbria Police said that the police were doing everything they could to get justice for Bradley and his family. She said that the police were appealing for anyone who had any information about the assault to come forward and help the investigation. She also said that the police were supporting Bradley’s family and that they were grateful for the public’s cooperation and sympathy.
Det Ch Insp Smith said: “This was a senseless and horrific crime that has taken the life of a young man who had so much to offer. Bradley was a victim of a brutal and cowardly attack that has left his family and friends devastated. We are doing everything we can to get justice for Bradley and his family and we will not rest until we do. We have arrested and charged two suspects with murder and conspiracy to murder and we have released two other suspects on bail pending further inquiries. We are still appealing for anyone who has any information about the assault to come forward and help us with our investigation. No matter how small or insignificant you think it may be, it could be crucial to our case. We are supporting Bradley’s family and we are grateful for the public’s cooperation and sympathy. A Loving Tribute
Bradley Lee William’s family and friends have paid tribute to him by laying flowers, candles, balloons, and messages at the scene of the assault. They have also set up a fundraising page to help with the funeral costs and to support Bradley’s mother and sister. The page has raised over £10,000 so far and has received hundreds of donations and comments from people who knew and loved Bradley.
