The shooting of the film was started in January 2015 and was completed in November 2017. After the completion of each and every work of the film, it premiered in October 2018 at the Mumbai Film Festival. Afterward, the makers released the movie on 26 November 2021 on the OTT platform of SonyLIV.

The theatrical release of the film was skipped. The work of cinematography of the film is done by N K Ekambaram and Wide Angle Ravishankar. The music department is handled by Ilaiyaraaja.
