Engga Hostel Series: Engga Hostel Web series is the latest release from Amazon Prime video. This series was released on the platform on January 27, 2023. Users of the platform have liked this series a lot. This series is specially released for youngsters who are now spending their days in college. Engga attaches the engineering hostel guys to it as it is a story of six friends who are completing their engineering in Tamil Nadu and living in a hostel.
This series is based on five episodes that show the curious life of all six roommates. The series will show how they became a friend, how they struggle with their studies, how they faced difficulties in their friendship, and how they clear their engineering exams.
The series will display that an engineering hostel is more than a hostel as their student spend the most precious memories of their life. Engga Hostel series is directed by Sathish Chandrasekaran and it is Season 1 of this series. This series is Tamil version of the famous Hindi Series titled “Hostel Daze” released earlier. Hostel Daze has already completed its three seasons.
Engga Hostel Story
Engga Hostel’s story begins with a first episode titled Rough Beginning. It shows the engineering college and students entering the college with big hopes for their future. As they begin living hostel they realize that they need to complete this degree to bring positivity to their life. In the first episode as freshers, six friends face difficulties in room allocation and ragging from their seniors.
In the Second episode titled Identity Crysis all six friends begin facing issues in their friendship. There is a girl named Ahaana and a boy Raja who begun jealous of each other even do they are friends. They began going to clubs without worrying about their studies.
Later in the third episode titled Kadhal Complication Ajay begins raising love vibes for Ahaana thus this episode shows whether will they get connect with each other or not. In the fourth episode titled Make A Wish, Engga Hostel’s story takes a deep turn moving it to the fifth episode which is the last in the series. The Fifth episode has been titled Final Exams. It shows how 6 friends help each other in clearing their exams.

Engga Hostel Review
The audience does like the Engga Hostel series but there was no fresh idea included in the story. It was all like students enjoying their hostel life and then giving exams and preparing overnight. Though different characters are added in the story in the form of students, they did not come out as appealing ones. Audiences only get to see how they struggle with their problems, conflicts, and other things in their college life.
If a character would be more exciting then the audience would have given more ratings to this series.
