After her son, Elvis Presley’s birth Gladys Presley remained connected to her son deeply. She falls into the trauma of her other son Jesse Garon Presley’s death.
Gladys use to help her father on cotton farms where she use to take Elvis along with her in a sack on her shoulders. Her son use to call her by a pet name. Even when Elvis entered his teens Gladys’s husband and son used to sleep on the same bed due to bad household conditions.
