She was only 16 when she appeared in her first TV commercial as a teenager.

In 2018 Prarthana got injured due to a serious accident when she was going to Kolhapur for her one movie promotion. After the accident Prarthana and all the other passengers in the car were immediately admitted to the hospital where they all went under a treatment for a few days.

Already shared by us Prarthana started her career at the age of 16. She after completing her studies has also worked as a TV reporter and her life changed in 2009 when she got the chance to work in the Marathi film Rita. She got her debut role in this movie due to director Renuka Shahane who met her while Prarthana was working as a TV reporter.
She then along assisting Renuka Shahane in her movie also played the character of Anuradha Salvi It was just the beginning and she made a remarkable performance when she debut in her first TV show title Pavitra Rishta the same year 2009. She has executed the character of Vaishali Karanjkar in this show from 2009-2011. Just after this Prarthana worked in various Marathi and Hindi films along with TV shows.
In 2014 she got another credit in her feathers when she won the 9X Jhakaas Heroine Hunt Season 1.
