As per the CCTV video, RN Kulkarni was hit by the car, while he was walking near the Biotechnology Department on the Manasagangotri campus of Mysore University.

The incident took place on 4 November 2022 around 5.30 pm. VV Puram traffic police filed a hit-and-run case. Kulkarni’s son-in-law Sanjay Angadi filed a complaint against Kulkarni’s neighbor Madappa.

According to Sanjay, RN Kulkarni filed a complaint with the MCC and petitioned a City Civil Court against Madappa, charging him with illegal construction. However, the police are still investigating the further case.
