Career and Achievements
Satwant Atwal Trivedi started her career as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh in 1998. She then became the first woman Superintendent of Police (SP) of Una district in 2000. She handled various law and order, crime, and security issues in her tenure as SP. She also initiated several community policing and women empowerment programs in the district.
In 2004, she went on central deputation and joined the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad as a faculty member. She taught various subjects such as law, investigation, intelligence, and cybercrime to the trainee IPS officers.
