Watch Shaakuntalam movie online: Shaakuntalam movie is a Telugu movie that will hit the theaters screen on 17th February 2023. It is said to be an Epic-Drama genre movie that will show actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the role of Shakuntala. This movie will add a lot of romantic scenes filmed with actress Samantha and actor Dev Mohan.
Dev Mohan will star in the role of Dushyanta. It is a story that is based on the popular novel of poet & writer Kalidas titled “Shakuntala”.
Fim is directed by none other than Gunsekhar. He also added the screenplay for this movie.

Shaakuntalam Movie Synopsis

If you are a fan of poet Kalidas novels then you may have heard about this novel Shakuntala. And the film Shaakuntalam is the same as the story of the novel Shakuntala in which Shakuntala is the lead character who is a beautiful daughter of the sage of Visvamitra and the apsara Menaka.
The film’s beginning scenes will show the introduction of the character Shakuntala and the king of Hasitanpura Dusyanta. The movie shows how Dusyanta got the chance to meet Shakuntala when he visit the hermitage of sage Knaga where Shakumtatl was living with her family. When Dusyanta first time saw Shakuntala he fall in love with her and then get married to her in royal style.

Later Dusyanta and Shakuntala have a conflict in which Dusyanta curses her for not being a good wife along with telling her a remedy to come out of the curse.
And then the story moves by showing how Shakuntala came out of the curse. In the end, the story gets connected to the famous Mythological book of Hinduism called Mahabharata.
