Sumbul Shahid was not feeling well last month (April 2021) and consulted the doctor. After checkup and reports, it came to know that she has a positive report of Coronavirus. She was on the ventilator since 22 April in a hospital in Lahore.
The situation got worsened day by day and on May 06, 2021, she took her last breathe. Her death news was given by her sister Bushra Ansari through her Twitter account. After that, many other news channels also shared this heart-breaking news.

Sumbul Ansari Shahid had done many TV series and TV shows. She began her career as an anchor of a show and then started taking interviews of female politicians on a Punjabi channel. Later, she started working as an actress in the TV serials such as Golden Girls, Ishqaaway, Malika-e-Aliya, Takay Ki Ayegi Baraat, etc.
Her television projects were Parchaiyan, Happily Married, Pehcahan, Meri Behen Meri Devraani, and others. People started recognizing her from the show Golden Girls. She last appeared in the Television serial named ‘Nand’. She had worked along with Ijaz Aslam, Shahroz Shabzwari, and Minal Khan.
